1. Information We Collect

When you sign up for invertbyte OMS or book a demo, we collect your name, email address, store URL, and basic business details. We also collect usage data such as order volumes and feature interactions to improve the product.

Your customers' details

When your store is connected, invertbyte processes your customers' order details — name, phone number, delivery address and what they ordered — on your behalf, to manage, confirm, ship and track your orders. You remain responsible for this data; we only use it to provide the service to you.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the invertbyte OMS service
• Send you onboarding guides, product updates, and support communications
• Improve our product based on usage patterns
• Comply with legal obligations including FBR reporting where applicable

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Courier partners (TCS, Leopards, PostEx, M&P, etc.) — solely to process shipments you create
• Shopify — via their API to sync your store orders
• Meta (WhatsApp) — when you turn on WhatsApp, your customer's phone number and the order details in the message (name, order number, amount, address, courier and tracking number) are sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform to deliver order confirmations and delivery updates
• Infrastructure providers (e.g. cloud hosting) — under strict data-processing agreements

4. WhatsApp Messages

If a store turns on WhatsApp, invertbyte sends its customers order-related messages only — order confirmation, shipping and delivery updates — using templates approved by Meta. Messages may come from invertbyte's number on behalf of the store, or from the store's own number.

• We keep each message, its delivery status and the customer's reply (for example "Confirm" or "Cancel") so the store can see it on the order.
• We do not use customers' phone numbers for our own marketing, and we do not sell them.
• A customer who does not want these messages can ask the store, or write to us with their phone number, and we will stop sending them.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored on servers located in Pakistan and/or the UAE. We apply industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Order and customer records are retained for a minimum of 5 years to comply with FBR requirements.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. On our website we also use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors find and use the site and to measure our ads — for example, that a demo form was sent, never what was typed in it. You can block these with your browser settings or an ad blocker; the site keeps working.

7. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

To delete your data: email [email protected] from your account's email with the subject "Delete my data". A store's customers can ask the store, or write to us with their phone number, and we will delete their WhatsApp messages and contact details held by invertbyte.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you by email of any material changes to this policy. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
